Partnership working

Timely access
- Processes to prioritise those most in need e.g. emergency IUD – call 01294 323226 / email clinical mailbox
- Accessible and responsive sexual health care, timely management options are consistently available – current Sexual health waiting times are 2-4 weeks, self referral for LARC and self-testing can be accessed on SHAYR
Safe Systems
- Systems to ensure equipment and peripherals used are checked – swabs, blood testing bottles etc in date, cervical screening pots in date (return to lab if out of date).
- Adverse events – organisational learning shared previously – CHC and VTE risk / unopposed oestrogen prescribing – any practice learning from these?
Staff development
- Staff are supported to attend training and CPD opportunities – SH updates provided in 2023, 2024 and March 2026 . Turas modules – detailed below
